Are You a Therapist Who Feels Burned Out Running Your Practice?
Do you want a better quality of life without giving up a nice income?
Learn how I can help you transform your business into a fulfilling, profitable one.
Therapists and coaches are different from any other profession. We dedicate years we can never get back to helping people become better versions of themselves.
Most people only realize our true impact years later.
This is not a job, it's a calling.
However, many of us have gotten lost along the way. And, more importantly, we’ve lost ourselves.
If you’re like me, you spent the first few years focusing on getting new clients. After getting a reasonably full schedule, a new problem arises.
How Do You Have A Balanced Life Now That You Have A Busy Practice?
You probably idealized working with clients to the point that you never considered the emotional drain that a full-time practice entails (the way most people do it anyway).
Your phone won't stop ringing, you're never caught up on your case notes, and not to mention the emotional drain from doing all the sessions. Some of them with clients you wish you never enrolled in the first place.
Then there are the business tasks that no one ever mentions when you start, like ensuring all your clients pay you like they are supposed to. Fun stuff!
When you finish one job, a new job is waiting for you. The work never stops!
Everyone wants your attention and energy, but you have nothing else to give.
How did this calling become a form of self-sacrifice?
The Real Reason Therapists Feel Burned Out...
There's a dirty little secret about running a practice I found out way too late. Providing a one on one service like therapy has a built in factor that leads to burn out.
No matter how good of a therapist you are, 20% of the clients who book their first session won't return for a second session. And...because of client cancellations you will likely overbook yourself by at least 15% just to make a consistent income.
This explains why...
My Most Profitable Months Were Also My Most Stressful
In fact, I started to associate doing well with stress. Not good. So it's not your fault this is happening. This is the status quo and it leads to many therapists quitting private practice and in some cases, the whole therapy profession.
How do I know all this?
I Discovered First Hand More Clients Didn’t Solve All My Problems!
As a hypnotherapist and coach, I used to long for more clients. In the early years, Sean, my business partner (pictured above), and I spent most of our time getting more clients.
Then we finally “made it" in 2019.
We went from earning $1500 a month to a business regularly grossing over six figures per year, and suddenly, I realized…
Money didn’t solve all my problems; it created new ones.
For the first time, I could literally work 24/7 on administrative tasks, sessions, marketing etc. Oh and I did. Many nights I went home at 10pm only to find my girlfriend at that time already asleep.
Being empathetic came naturally to me, but setting boundaries didn’t. As a result, once I had some success, my battery was constantly drained.
I woke up one day and realized…
My Clients And Practice Had Taken Over My Life.
I was forced to rediscover my values and find authentic ways to do my best work or find a new career.
In a way…I did both.
I redefined what I did for a living and how I did it.

This is not about “getting more clients.”

Meet Will
I first became obsessed with personal growth and therapy when I lost 120 lbs during my junior year of high school. I was able to change my eating habits by using CBT and hypnotherapy tools. As a result, I wanted to give others the life-changing benefits of therapy to others. I’ve co-owned a six-figure hypnotherapy practice and sold my share to my former partner. I’ve been helping therapists transform their draining businesses into profitable, low-stress, and fulfilling ones for the last five years.
Most therapists spend their careers sacrificing their own needs for their clients. My mission is to help you (the therapist) rediscover yourself and reduce your workload in a way that does not sacrifice your income. Outside of work, I have an amazing girlfriend that I love to travel with, and I love attending yoga classes.
